Just for a laugh

Did you hear the one about - How so many Christians think that the bulk of Judaism was so small minded, bigoted because they thought that in order to be saved you had to be a Jew. When everybody knows that in order to be saved you have to be a Christian. ****** Or did you hear the one about -
"Listen to me people! Are you all deaf or just plain stupid? We are told that we are not justified by our works of the law. Everybody knows that we are not justified by our works of the law. It is common knowledge that we are not justified by our works of the law. We are justified by our faith!!! WITHOUT OUR WORKS of the law!!!!" What a shame that nobody ever told them that having faith was a work of the law. "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone." MAT 23:23 ******
Or
did you hear the one about the two Christians who were arguing over
who's point of view was correct
-
First Christian:- "But the way that you handle God's word is devious and false, my friend. You can't just pick the bits out the Bible which suit your purpose and use them, and ignore the bits which don't suit you and claim that they don't count. If we are going to be true to the Bible, we must take on board the whole package, not just the bits which support our point of view."
******
Or there again, did you hear the one about -
How Jesus so often gave the Pharisees a right old tongue lashing because they were so self righteous that they taught how particular people were, for various reasons, damned, condemned, and doomed to Hell etc. (always managing to leave themselves out of that cursed category, of course.) So He told the disciples - Go preach the gospel of salvation, go and tell the news of what God has done to save man. So the Christians went out and taught that particular people were damned, condemned, and doomed to Hell etc, (always managing to leave themselves out of that cursed category, of course.)
