Christianity
follows on in the good old Moses Tradition

By the time that Jesus was about to enter the scene they had a priest class that was doing very well indeed, and all was going relatively fine. Every male that was born was circumcised on the eighth day after birth, all of those women were still trotting up to the temple at the end of each month with their two turtle doves to offer as a sacrifice for her "so called" sin of ovulation. The priests were in charge of the stonings as always and probably stoning just about everybody who was suspected of anything who would stand still long enough to be stoned. Not a very good time for the common people it must be admitted, especially if they were prone to a bit on the side and got caught in adultery, or they were a bit doubtful about Jehovah and fancied they might try witchcraft instead because they were the poor devils who got the rocks thrown at them. As usual it was the common man that got the rough end of it all. It was ok if you were a priest and in the running of things but for the poor devil down the road who was hardly educated and scratched a living out of carpentry or whatever probably not so rosy. But hey-ho, people are very resilient and often make the best of a bad job under such circumstances. There were fish to be caught and eaten, there were feast days and Holy days to celebrate and life just went on. It was true that the tax system to the Romans (the latest lot to invade) was a bit of a bind because they were greedy devils those Romans and unless you wanted to feel the wrong end of a spear up your backside it paid to not look directly at them when you were on your way to market or to get caught with any revolutionary scrolls under your arm. I suppose that like all people in such circumstances they tried to make the best of it. At least with the Romans in situ’ there wasn't much chance of anybody else invading. A puppet Jewish/Roman king called Herod had been ensconced on the throne and by all accounts he was a bit of a git, but on the other hand he was re-building the temple which pleased the priest class, and probably quite a few stone masons as well. The religion that Moses had set up had fragmented a little bit. It wouldn’t have happened in Moses day – he would have caused the ground to just open up and swallow up the lot of em, but as time had gone on a few arguments and disagreements had developed about how things should be done. There were three main groups. The Pharisees, the Sadducees and the Essenes. There were probably a few other smaller groups as well, but these three were the main ones and of these three the Pharisees and the Sadducees were always vying for pole position.. In regard to rituals at the Temple in Jerusalem – The Sadducees believed that the burnt offering that had to be offered up each day should be provided by the High Priest and paid for out of his own pocket. The Pharisees on the other hand claimed that as they were a national sacrifice the temple treasury should pay. God, or his female counterpart – the Shekhinah was supposed to live in the Holy of Holies in the temple, or at least come for a visit to meet with and maybe show things to the High Priest from time to time. So on the Day of Atonement when the High Priest entered into the Holy of Holies he went in with incense. Now the Sadduccees reckoned that the lighting of the incense should be done outside and given chance to smoke a bit so when the High Priest entered into the inner sanctuary he would be surrounded by the smoke and probably as high as a kite, and thus be better equipped to meet the Shekhinah and possibly have a vision regarding something. But the Pharisees reckoned that the incense should be lit inside so that the High Priest wouldn’t be so overcome with the fumes and possibly as high as a kite so that he could claim such a supernatural vision. Just for interest, even though they didn’t have much of a say in the matter it is evident that the Essenes banned inhaling any smoke, using any drug inducement, and drinking. The Sadducees thought that the purity of those who attended to the ashes of the red heifer (a particular sacrifice) after it had been sacrificed was a bit dubious and they should be more purified. But the Pharisees reckoned that it didn’t matter all that much. The Pharisees reckoned that the scrolls of the Holy Scriptures, because they were “holy”, had the power to ritually render clean any unclean hands that touched them. The Sadducees disagreed. It was against the Jewish law to do any work on the Sabbath, and that included carrying clothes, goods, food, children etc. The “no work on the Sabbath” law had been adapted over the years to mean that you could carry things within your own house and your own property, but not outside your own property line. So the Pharisees had come up with a great plan which got around it and they called it an “Eruv”. This idea meant that if a local group of people agreed, they could legally enjoin their properties and parcels of land and make them a large shared one which only came into shared status on the Sabbath day. This meant that on the Sabbath day they could carry things anywhere on the small estate without breaking the law of not doing work on the Sabbath. The Sadduccees reckoned that this was cheating and disagreed. The Sadducees reckoned that the text an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth etc - Leviticus 24:19-20 should really mean an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth and if you knocked your neighbours tooth out insisted that in payment you should have yours knocked out. But the Pharisees reckoned that if payment appropriate to the value of a tooth was made it would suffice. The Sadducees were happy to grant a daughter the same right of inheritance as the son if the son was dead. The Pharisees disagreed. And so it went on – Hey not a lot has changed has it – It all reminds me of Christianity as it continually wrangles over its peculiar points of disagreement. At the same time as the Pharisees and the Sadducees were having a go at each other there were the Essenes, as I have mentioned. They didn’t reckon much to either the Pharisees or the Sadducees and had basically opted out of society altogether and set up huge communes where they could go and live in peace, pray, study, contemplate etc. Nag Hammadi where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered was one such commune. I believe that the evidence is very strong in pointing out that Jesus was an Essene. I am not particularly interested in the arguments, wrangles and debates about how it doesn’t fit with the Gospel accounts of his childhood and upbringing. Maybe he joined them from about the age of thirteen or fourteen, I don’t know because we aren’t told. The point is if you actually get down to it and study or at least read some of the Essene literature that is available in general it sticks out like a sore thumb. Jesus was either an Essene or was greatly influenced by their teachings. And while we are at it – so was the writer of the book of Revelation. And if that was the apostle John it may explain why John refers to himself as “the disciple that Jesus loved.” The beginning of the Christian episode began when a reputedly rather hairy guy (whom I believe was probably another one of these Essenes or a person who had also been directly influenced by their particular teaching) started to make waves. His name was John and he lived out in the wilderness. He was evidently a bit of a radical. A bit like me in a way. He called a spade a spade and didn't really give a monkey's chuff about who he exposed for fraud, mind control, hypocrisy and general underhanded nastiness, which to be fair didn't make him flavour of the month with the priest-class who in general were the ones who were into the business of fraud, mind control, hypocrisy and general underhanded nastiness. But for the people, he was an alright guy. He had taken to standing in the River Jordan telling them to repent and baptising them – ever wonder where baptism came from? I mean it wasn’t ever mentioned anywhere in the Old Testament? Nor was it a Jewish tradition. No, it was an Essene principle, as was wearing a white robe, turning away from and denying all worldly wealth, fasting a lot to purify oneself, much fasting and prayer, and upholding principles of love such as love your enemy and blessed are the peacemakers etc. And then along came Jesus and I am not going to spend any time at all on going through his life because if one thing should already be understood by the majority of my readers it is the life and teachings of Jesus. So, enough of the history, lets get down to the results of what Jesus is recorded as doing as it is explained in the Bible. Since the days of Moses it had always been understood that all men were sinners. They did things all day long which were just downright sinful, and as such they needed to have their sins paid for - hence all of those daily sacrifices. So Jesus gets crucified and it is reckoned that his death is the ultimate sacrifice for sin. Whoa – did you get that? Throughout all of his adult life he had been an absolute pain in the neck to the priest class and the orthodox Jewish religious leaders. He had argued with them relentlessly, gone against their traditions and laws on stoning, confronted them on about every issue that he could confront them on, kicked the sellers of doves and the money changers out of the temple – remember somebody had to sell the doves to all of those women each month and take a percentage on the money changing. He had called them hypocrites, accused them of cheating and being a burden to the people etc and they had eventually after a whole load of grief finally managed to get him out of their hair by killing him and suddenly the word goes around that after three days he arose again from the dead and it was a witness that the ultimate sacrifice had been accepted by God and there was now no more need for any more sacrifices because He had paid the price for all of man’s sins. All of those sacrifices that were being made in the temple every day were suddenly obsolete as far as the new thinking was concerned. There was no need for sacrifices any more because Jesus had been the ultimate sacrifice. His teaching was based on an individual persons walk with God, no need of any more sacrifices, no need of any more Priests because each individual could pray and have a personal contact and relationship with God, no more need even for a temple – you could do it at home or out in the desert, anywhere you liked. Indeed, his message was what the Essenes had been doing for a long time, but now it was turning religion on its head. Oh dear - now the brown stuff hit the fan. You can’t do that! What about the priest class – how are they going to live? The priest class have been living off the offering system for hundreds of years. Some of the peoples taxes went into the temple treasury for goodness sake. I mean there was Herod in the process of re-building the blasted thing and now everybody has been told that they don’t need it, they can just pray and worship God at home or in the desert, or in small house groups, or wherever they want? They don’t need a priest to offer up their sacrifice any more because there is no more a need for any sacrifices to be made. This can’t last, can it? Of course it can’t. For goodness sake what are you stupid? Have you not been following what I have been saying through the last few documents. Those who want to be in a position of power and authority won’t allow it to last. A new priest class will arise. They will make damned sure of it. Gaining control over other people makes the controller wealthy and powerful and it gives them one hell of a kick. If a person can succeed in controlling the minds of a body of people they will rise to meteoric heights in the wealth and power stakes. Every leader in history, including the despots and dictators have understood and used this principle. You must gain control. And if you can continue to succeed in control, you will remain in power and attain wealth and power beyond your wildest dreams. It is quite evident that as a race, we humans are pathetically slow at learning our lessons, and we are very easily manipulated and easily led. This is one of the greatest advantages to those who have a wish to control us. We are very prone to being controlled. Those who would control us can use numerous methods. They can play on physical needs, our need for food, shelter, medicine etc. They can play on our emotions, on our likes and dislikes, on our need to belong. They can and very often do play on our fear. And as far as religion is concerned they are right up there at the top in the wealth, power and authority stakes – right where they have always been since the days of Moses. There are many such instances of power and control in our world, but this is a site which is designed to expose power and control of a different nature. This is a site which is designed to look at religious and Christian control, so again - let's get down to it. There have been a number of documentaries in the media regarding religious cults which target people of all ages and backgrounds using very well understood mind control and brainwashing techniques to enslave their disciples. The human brain seems to be very prone to these techniques. They all generally follow a similar pattern. 1. You convince the person that they have got a problem. This can take and entail many different means but in general it plays on the person's fear factor. It all reminds me of Moses. The result of this is, hey presto, like magic, before you know it you will have a great following of slaves, you will be very rich, very powerful, and on your way to a life of prestige, power, importance and luxury. Take a look at some of the cult leaders who have done it. Whenever you see the TV documentaries regarding these religious sects and cults which manipulate their followers to such extremes, they very often contain footage of other Christians who are portrayed as the outraged helpers who are trying to break the bonds of the cult over the enslaved victim. In many cases they probably are indeed trying to help, but hey, hang on a minute here. This is a little bit like the pot calling the kettle "black" because in all reality all of the cults who enslave their victims have some of the greatest examples of how to accomplish it in the world of Christianity itself. Christianity has used these same principles for centuries and it still does. Very often other Christians are quick to point out that the hard core cults use all sorts of techniques like sleep deprivation, food deprivation, repetitious learning and teaching techniques, etc, but you don't need these to be successful at mind control. The Cult member is portrayed and thought of by many Christians as one who has been outrageously manipulated by the cult. They are portrayed as people whose minds have been closed to reality. They have been brainwashed into believing that everybody outside of the cult is the enemy, trying to take them away from the truth. But, again, these are the very same principles that all of Christianity has used for thousands of years, and still uses today to control the minds of its followers. You want to hear some of the things that they say about me! The cult member is portrayed as having been so brainwashed, and their minds taken control of to such a degree that they cannot and dare not even listen to anybody else because they are the enemy. So be it, but again, this is very often the very same scenario that many mainstream Christians are also in. I remember some years ago standing in the lobby of a big Pentecostal crusade in the North of England handing out leaflets which detailed a few items of interest which were generally against a few things that were going on. I was quickly joined by one of the crusade organisers who simple stood there and as each person entered and was offered a leaflet, he quickly said - "I would not take that if I were you. This man is not on our side and that leaflet contains things which are contrary to what we believe". I went armed with about 2000 leaflets and I think I managed to give out no more than half a dozen. The rest simply walked on by declining them, so don't tell me that Christians feel free to listen to or read things which they are told are from an opposition side because it is cobblers. As far as mind control by the Christian church is concerned, the majority of Christians today simply do not see the problem. As far as they are concerned I am the problem for having the audacity to talk about it. The majority of them consider me as a poor misguided fool at best and Satan's right hand man at worst, but either way they reckon that one day when I meet God I will learn the error of my ways and be made to pay the price for my blasphemy and heresy. The majority of them are utterly blind to the fact that there is a problem. They can plainly see and understand the control placed on people by those that they consider to be outrageous religious cults, but they fail to see, understand or believe that they themselves are being controlled. In fact they are even outraged by the suggestion. And again, they are their own worst enemies because they do the work of the mind controller themselves by teaching their children the necessity of it all. The actual hard cold facts of the matter can be shown to them, but it just doesn't seem to sink in. The brainwashing is so good and so complete that any and all suggestions and examples that are shown to them just bounce off their brains like water of a duck's back. Having read the examples on previous pages of Moses and his manipulation, their brains do not say - hey, this is outrageous, this needs to be looked at very carefully doesn't it? Instead, their brains go in "defence of Moses" mode, and they immediately try to start making excuses and reasons why what Moses did was correct and above board, good and proper. In short - they start to make all manner of excuses for the man. Moses was a very smart manipulator of people's minds and an absolute adept at mind control, and Christianity has learned its lesson from the master and kept up his marvellous expertise in manipulation, using the very same foundation as its source. Moses taught that the act of ovulation was a sin and therefore needed a sacrifice to pay for it and coincidentally set up the priest class to do the offering up of the sacrifice. Christianity follows right on in the same vein and it does it in so many different ways. You need to partake of the sacrament – the Lords Supper, the bread and wine because Jesus did say “do this in remembrance of me” – a church ordinance that can only be carried out by a priest / minister / pastor. If you are a Seventh Day Adventist not only do you partake of communion but you also have a foot-washing thing before – where you are supposed to choose somebody that you may have fallen out with and wash their feet as a sign of humility – because Jesus did teach us to be humble – a church ordinance. If you are a strict Baptist you can’t partake of communion unless you have been baptised and I mean full immersion – a church ordinance that can only be carried out by a priest / minister. Your children need to be christened – a church ordinance. You need to be married – a church ordinance. You need to be buried – a church ordinance. If you are a Roman Catholic you need various rites of passage bestowed upon you by the church and of course you need confession at regular intervals which can only be performed by a priest. And not forgetting the “last rites”. They learn quick don’t they? But as I say they had a good example to follow in Moses. And it gets worse! If a few deeper thinkers question all of the necessity of the Church’s authority in these things and ask – but didn’t the Christian message as it burst upon the Jews 2000 years ago basically mean that you don’t need a priest and that you can just pray and worship God at home or in the desert, or in small house groups, or wherever you want? They usually answer with - Well, yes sort of. But do you want to take the chance? I mean wouldn’t it be better to be safe than sorry and make sure that you have a “holy” man as a direct pipeline through to God? After all – he has been trained to know how things ought to happen and not happen, and he can teach you all about God. And anyway, if you are a serious Christian and are really serious about your faith what better way than to display it than to be with people of a like mind. I mean – if you don’t really want to be in the company of other Christians then you need to examine if you are really a Christian at all yourself, etc. But all in all they just haven’t got the grip over the people like Moses had. People are inventive little blighters. They will always try to find a way around a problem to make it less grievous, just like the Pharisees found a way around the law on Sabbath keeping as previously highlighted It was against the Jewish law to do any work on the Sabbath, and that included carrying clothes, goods, food, children etc. You could do it within your own house and your own property, but not outside your own property line. So the “Eruv” idea meant that if a local group of people agreed they could legally enjoin their properties and parcels of land and make them as a large shared property status on the Sabbath day which meant that they could carry things anywhere on the small estate without breaking the law of not doing work on the Sabbath. The Eruv principle is still in massive use in Jewish communities right around the world today – here is a picture of the London Eruv.
The eruv chatzerot, is often a symbolic fence made using stakes and a rope or wire to demarcate doorframes, often using utility poles as something to hang the wire on if no solid walls are available. So a modern eruv is commonly composed of a series of "doorframes," with the poles forming the doorposts. The rope, string or wire creates a symbollic "walled courtyard" which means that any who belong to the joint shared ownership can freely carry things about on the Sabbath. As I say – wherever there are laws and rules people will endeavour to find away out of them or around them. It reminds me a bit of the Priest who found Sam and Joe stripping the lead of the church roof and having caught them red-handed made a deal with them that he wouldn’t report them to the police as long as they put it all back and paid penance. The penance he decided on to teach them a lesson was that the following Sunday they both had to stick broken walnut shells in their shoes and walk to church on them. The following Sunday arrived and Sam and Joe meet up in the pew and Sam is limping so badly he can hardly walk. It has taken him 2 hours to get to church and his feet are cut to ribbons. He looks at Joe and remarks on how well he looks and asks – “but didn’t it hurt when you walked to church”? “Nah,” Joe replied. “But it must have done – what about the walnut shells.” Asked Sam “Oh them?” Joe chuckled “no problem – I boiled mine.” You see, the inventive will always try to find a way out. In the Moses scenario regarding ovulation being a sin there was no way out for any woman who ovulated. That’s what was so clever about it. She couldn’t help but act according to nature. Modern day Christianity hasn’t got that sort of a lever to use against the people so it goes down a different road – it uses fear and paranoia. If you are a Roman Catholic the threat of excommunication is a possible threat. If you are not a Roman Catholic then other means must be employed, but in general they all revolve around the fear factor. Before the recent gulf war I listened to the rhetoric, the arguments, and the reasoning of the UK leadership and I fell for it. See, we are all entitled to be suckered every now and then, and I admit it - I was suckered. I listened to the opposition arguments, I took it all in and came down on the side of the leadership - after all if the potential opposition had weapons of mass destruction and were planning to use them on us / me then lets stop it before it starts, I reasoned. But of course as we all now know - there weren't any weapons of mass destruction, not a single one was found. So there you go – that’s what you call playing on the fear factor. And the Christian way around their problem is to use fear and paranoia as a means to hold their captives in bondage. Firstly it can be pointed out that worshipping God on your own isn’t very effective because the Bible does say – “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Mathew 18:20 Note, brother - it doesn’t say where one is on his own. The answer of course is – no and neither does it say that where one is on his own God will not be with him either. Then, if they don’t fall for the “where two or three are gathered” argument or the “but surely if you are a Christian you will want to keep company with other Christians” line it can always be taken a step further. Satan, the devil, the great deceiver is out there just waiting to beguile and trick you. There are many non believers and false prophets out there who are just waiting to lead you astray. Have you not read – “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”? 1Peter 5:8 You see when you are on your own you are leaving yourself continually totally open to being deceived and tricked. There is safety in numbers. And that is what the church is all about. We are here to protect you, to befriend you, to be a comfort in your time of need, to instruct you, to teach you and to help you. If you are alone out there you are in all sorts of trouble. Have you not read – “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall So, you see how much care must be taken regarding who you listen to and what you take notice of. We are experienced in these things And we have members within our church who have received the gift of the Holy Spirit . They have the Holy Spirit dwelling within them to help us and to teach us and to prevent us from being deceived and led astray. – “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” Mathew 7:13-15 And so it goes on and on in a similar vein. Oh and by the way – the collection box is at the back door just on the way out. Thus by using the “fear” factor they continually make merchandise of any and all who come within their grasp. So they don’t need a priest to offer up a sacrifice any more because there is no more a need for any sacrifices to be made. But by using a blend and a mixture of threats, intimidation, playing on the fear factor, and of course its constant teaching within the family unit, the Roman Catholic Church has become so wealthy and powerful that it would boggle the mind, and I mean boggle the mind. It has been suggested and estimated that recently the Roman Catholic Church has had to pay out at least $1,000,000,000 – that’s one thousand million dollars to pay for the criminal sexual activities committed by some of it's marriage-forbidden 'Priests and clergymen in America alone! And whilst it would be foolish to state that they have not felt such a sum of money leaving their coffers, it has evidently hardly caused them to stir. Nobody can realistically assess how much The Roman Catholic Church is actually worth because it is a well kept secret. And indeed may be almost impossible for even them to calculate it even if they wanted to do so because it is so vast. Unlike Jesus who didn’t even own his own coat, and He who gave himself for “our sake” the Roman Catholic Church has become filthy rich for it's own sake. It is said that The Vatican has billions of shares in some of the most powerful international corporations such as Gulf Oil, Shell, General Motors, Bethlehem Steel, General Electric, International Business Machines, T.W.A, etc. It has been conservatively estimated that these amount to more than 500 million In a statement published in connection with a bond prospectus, the Boston A member of the New York Catholic conference gave a hint of the sorts of figures that we should be considering when he remarked that “his church probably ranks second only to the United States Government in total annual purchases.” And another statement made by a nationally syndicated Catholic priest, was that “The Catholic Church must be the biggest corporation in the United States. We have a branch office in every neighbourhood. Our assets and real estate holdings must exceed those of Standard Oil, A.T.&T., and U.S. Steel combined. And our roster of dues-paying members must be second only to the tax rolls of the United States Government.” The Wall Street Journal said that the Vatican's financial deals in the U.S. alone were so big that very often it sold or bought gold in lots of a million or And the Vatican's treasure of solid gold has been estimated by the United But hey – all of this is just a small portion of the wealth of the Vatican, which in the U.S. alone, is greater than that of the five wealthiest giant corporations of the country. When to that is added all the real estate, property, stocks and shares abroad, then the staggering accumulation of the wealth of the Catholic church becomes so formidable as to defy any rational assessment. It is the biggest financial power, wealth accumulator and property owner in existence. And so it goes on – any who are interested can soon start taking a look at some of this stuff online. But I think that you get the idea. Manipulate the people into a state of fear and bondage and let the wealth increase take care of itself. It always has and it always will. Tell the people that they are sinful, unacceptable to God, but that they, the priest/church know the answer of how the situation can be remedied and make them acceptable, and once again, voila - the magic formula is produced. Thus by working on the fear and conscience factor they enslave millions to providing them with hard cash, they gain authority over the sheep, and rise to a meteoric height of power and wealth in a very short space of time. Clever, isn't it? And lest there are some out there who think that this page is just about having a dig at the Roman Catholic Church it isn’t, because there is not a one of them that is any better. At the end of 2007 under the heading “asset management and investment policy”, the Church of England Church Commissioners web site announced the following – “the Church commissioners manage assets worth £5.67 billion, and the Church commissioners’ aim is to gain the best return from these assets to help sustain the nation-wide ministry of the Church, without undue risk and in line with their ethical investment policy. Their portfolio includes stock market investments and commercial, residential and agricultural properties……The Church Commissioners maintain a diverse portfolio of shares in UK and overseas industrial, commercial and financial companies, with a smaller proportion in fixed interest securities…..The Church Commissioners own offices, shops, factories and warehouses throughout England and Scotland. The offices are mainly in large cities, while retail properties include shops in city centres, a share in a number of retail warehouse parks and shares in major shopping centres such as the Metrocentre, Gateshead and Bluewater, Kent. ……The Church Commissioners own some 112,000 acres of agricultural land. They are conscious of their duty as long-established landlord and one of the countries largest Landowners” See what I mean? And please note this is NOT the wealth of the Church of England! This is their investment portfolio! That is £5.67 billion people. Now that’s what I call an investment portfolio. And as I say – on and on it goes As far as the Roman Church is concerned, as the generations have passed, the organisation has risen to such meteoric power, authority and status that they can really play God. They sit somebody called a pope on a thrown and claim that his word is as good as the word of God. – Reminds me of Moses all over again. They claim that he has the power to condemn any and all who stand against him to this terrible place called "hell" in the afterlife, (that keeps the members of the church of Rome in order). Over the years their mind controlling rule and authority has enabled them to amass so much wealth from the people that they have enslaved and manipulated, that their pope can rule over a world-wide empire and have amassed so much wealth that it would stagger the imagination. Whether the church is Roman Catholic, Church of England, Methodist, or whatever, the core principle is the same. It is the same basic core principle that Moses used as detailed in previous sections with a few changes. – it is the principle of instilling fear into the people or making them believe that they can’t really be secure with God without you or your leadership or your intercession. As far as the very core and basic mind control weapon of Christianity is concerned, as long as they can convince a person that they are sinful and in need of a sacrifice, you have got them hooked one way or the other. So let us go right down to the core basics and the very root of the matter and ask the obvious question - who said that we are sinful in the first place? Christians across the globe stop dead with a sharp intake of breath. And then they start to ream off the texts of the Bible that state that we are sinful. But whoa, whoa, hang on a minute here. All of these texts which tell us of our sinfulness originate from the writings and teachings of Judaism, or from early Christian writers who in turn had been deeply entrenched in the teachings of Judaism for most of their lives and were teaching the same, who had in turn been influenced by the teachings and mind control practices of Moses whom we have already shown to have been either a lying manipulative mind controller, or a spokesman of Jehovah who was just an old bull god that had been dreamed up by the Canaanites. I mean, if I told you that according to Baal, all men had to wear a pair of bells on their head, stick their left forefinger up their nose and dance in a circle in an anticlockwise direction on the night of the full moon for fifteen minutes because Baal said it was necessary to do so for whatever reason, all Christians would undoubtedly reply - so what, who gives a monkeys chuff about Baal. He is just an old Canaanite god who doesn't amount to didley squat. But hey, so was Jehovah! You are still reading this, so you did not take the quick shortcut out of here, which means that you do find something terribly wrong with the teaching that the perfectly natural act of a woman ovulating and her menstrual cycle is sinful and required a sacrifice for sin, which means that either Moses got it all wrong and was just manipulating them or Jehovah did command it and he was wrong and just manipulating them, but either way, how can you prove the validity of man's sinfulness when it is based on the teachings of a man whose other teachings have been shown to be a load of old cobblers? Come, come, come. Let us not be so hasty here as just to presume anything. Let us not just presume that man is sinful because Moses said it and taught it and others just followed his lead and perpetuated it. The sacrificial system of Judaism was based on some very basic core beliefs and teachings. 1. Man is sinful. 2. In his natural sinful state man is unacceptable to god. 3. In order for man to be made acceptable to god a blood sacrifice had to be made to atone. Hence the sacrificial system that they were bound to for all of those years. As far as Christianity is concerned – 1. Man is sinful. 2. In his natural sinful state man is unacceptable to god. 3. In order for man to be made acceptable to god a blood sacrifice had to be made to atone. 4. Jesus came to perform the blood sacrifice 5. So the way to god is through Jesus the blood sacrifice without which no man is acceptable to god. So what is the bottom line difference between Judaism and Christianity? The difference is Judaism sacrificed an animal and shed its blood to achieve the atonement and Christianity is based on the sacrifice of human blood in the person of Jesus. The first question that must be asked of course is - which god is that we need to be made acceptable to? Jehovah? What, that old Canaanite bull deity, oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Let's get this into some sort of perspective. Jehovah was a pagan bull god for goodness sake. Go back to section one and get that one sorted out in your brain. So again I ask – who said that we were actually sinful in the first place? This site was not constructed overnight. It as been the product of many years thought, study and research. And during that time I have discussed issues with numerous Christians and quite often, usually at leadership level have been met with something along the lines of “oh hear we go again – this is like the such and such heresy”. So far I have been likened to the Marcionite heresy, the Antinominian heresy, the Arminian heresy and no doubt they will think up a few more as time goes on. But one thing they won’t do is examine what they have been taught in the cold light of day. But as you are probably here reading because you are somehow unhappy with what they have taught you or are confused about how it doesn’t all add up the question does still remain - Who said that we were actually sinful before God and needed a sacrifice the be made in order to be reconciled with Him and have our sin atoned for in the first place? Was it Jehovah? Like I say – we have already seen who he was. Was it Moses? Okay, and we have already had a look at a few of the things that he taught and upheld – and he said they all came from Jehovah anyway. But some may ask - what if man really is sinful before God? Sinful before which God? Jehovah? Who gives a monkeys chuff. If man is sinful before Jehovah and man keeps on missing the mark as far as Jehovah is concerned who cares any more than who cares whether man is sinful before Baal, Ashtoreth or any other Canaanite deity. Come on, I'll be brave for you. I will be the one to say it - sod Jehovah. I am not in the least bit interested in a god that demands blood sacrifices to appease him. Do you really think that God requires blood sacrifices to appease Him? Just what sort of a God do you believe in? A god that demanded the slaughter of 12 million pigeons a year so that the perfectly natural act of ovulation in a woman could be declared a sin and atoned for? Is this really what you believe? I think that you need to get the kettle on and get a few cups of strong black coffee down you or go for a walk to clear your head while you think about this one Do you worship Jehovah? Is Jehovah your God? He isn't mine. I wouldn't worship a piece of garbage like him. What? Me? Worship a god who demanded the slaughter of 12 million doves a year to pay for the so called sin of menstruation in women? Me, worship a deity who demanded the slaughter of countless millions of animals because he had a blood fetish? Me, worship a deity who demanded the killing of any and all who withstood him and commanded the mass genocide of peoples including the babes in arms. You can worship him if you like, but not me brother. And the question still remains - who said that we are sinful in the first place, and on what evidence? The answer is very simple. According to the attribution of the books of the Bible, Moses did! The first five books of the Bible are attributed to him. He did not actually write them because the scholars date them to a period long after his death, but the content is essentially put squarely at his feet. He was the High Priest who set it all up! And we have already seen quite clearly that a lot of what he set up is either absolutely and utterly contradictory or extremely questionable. So the question still remains – are we actually sinful before God? Were we ever sinful before God? Did a sacrifice have to be made to atone for our sinfulness, etc If your only evidence is Biblical then you have got a problem. Indeed, you have got more than one problem, you have got quite a few. At this juncture, I am going to make the next logical section an answer to those who do believe that they are sinful and are in a state of despair about it. This may not be conducive to the other things that I am saying, but for those who need it, it is about time that we gave them an answer and a way out of their dilemma. This site is designed to help people get out from under the fear and state of bondage and manipulation that they may be held under now let us progress to a section where there is a simple example of how "burdened with the guilt of sin" Christians can fight back against the burden of guilt for sin that the Church and its teachers lays upon them.
